Sunday School Christmas 2002
There was plenty of participation in this year's Sunday School and Youth Christmas service. The 4 to 7 year-old and 8 to 12 year-old class programs are shown on this page. The Youth Group play photos can be seen by clicking on the Youth Button.
The 4 to 6 year olds recited lines from a book "Christmas in the Manger" written by Buck and Bond. Each child was dressed according to an aspect of the manger scene. There was a wise man, a ram, a star, the baby, a donkey and a donkey.
The 8 to 12 year olds recited selected lines from a play called "Coconut Christmas" from RBP. They talked about Jesus being a gift to us. He is a perfect gift, a gift of love, a gift of life, a gift to share with others. They sang "The Gift of God", Go Tell It on the Mountain" and "Give Thanks".
