Ice Fishing
This was the first trip of the new year. Ice fishing is a popular past time at Ste-Anne de la Perade. In the modern era, slots are cut in the ice and then a heated shack is placed over the slot. There are so many of these shacks that it looks like a color-coded mini village.
Starting from the top going clockwise: 1) the long wait on the leftside of the shack, 2) the long wait from the rightside of the shack, 3) a proud fisherman, 4) the first fish caught.
