Camp Capernwray 2005
The Youth participated in a weekend retreat at Camp Capernwray located near Chertsey, Quebec. The theme for this year was 'The Great Race'.
The time was spent studying God's word, discussing issues in small groups, playing in the rain and eating. As always, the Capernwray staff did a great job with the music, bible study and food preparation.
Three talks were given by Ministry Coordinator, Matt McLean. Session 1 was used to talk about being born again and that God works from within a person. Session 2 looked at I Cor. 9:24. Paul tells people to run as to receive the prize, to follow the rules and to run in such a way as to not be disqualified. Session 3 reminded everyone that they are to build upon a solid foundation (Matt. 7).

Matt (on the right) not only spoke, he also assisted in the choruses.
Everyone was assigned to a team. Each team had to create a banner with a signature logo.
A favourite time was breakfast, lunch and supper.
